welcome to another card project straight from my craft room,
Today's card I made using the Wild rose studio "bunch of balloons " stamp.
For the card base I used neenah solar white cardstock , followed by a a layer of stampin'Up's Night of Navy cardstock and for the third and top layer I used ranger watercolour card, which I cut using the mama elephant basic die creative cuts set, the large scalloped edged die.
For the background i using the ink smooshing technique, there are many you tube tutorial for this techinique ( Kristina werner being one of them ). I used tumbled glass distress ink for this and just love how it turned out.
I also used the star confetti die from the same mama elephant basic die set to cut the line of stars along the bottom, to let the night of navy cardstock shine through!
I stamped the "bunch of balloons" image onto ranger watercolour cardstock using Ranger Black archival ink and colured in using my Zig clean color real brush pens.
I used the tiny die cut stars i had left over from the line of stars i die cut earlier and adhered them with cosmic shimmer glue onto the balloons, i then stamped the sentiment from MFT's Birthday bears Stamp set onto the card using Ranger Black archival ink.
I added a few sequins and a little bit of clear wink of stella onto the balloons and the card is done....
